Where is the Red Sea Located ?

The length is 2,250 km, and the maximum width is 355 km. The maximum depth is 2,130 meters. To the north, the Red Sea connects to the Suez Gulf to the west of Sinai, and to the Gulf of Aqaba to the east. To the south, the Red Sea is connected to the Gulf of Aden, which is part of the Arabian Sea. The Red Sea is part of the Rift Valley, that cuts through most of eastern Africa. Its ports are Jeddah of Saudi Arabia and Mukalla of Yemen. Suez, located at the Gulf of Suez, is equally as important as these two, for traffic in the Red Sea. Port Sudan, Sudan has today only minor importance beyond the domestic needs of Sudan.
